I like how New Orleans is one of the oldest cities in the country (over 300 years) and people act like it was founded yesterday.
Some guys earlier today were trying to hit me up for money to go to hurricane victims, so I was like "My family already spent over 100 thousand dollars on hurricane repairs between Ivan and Dennis, and who knows how much more we'll spend after Katrina. So why don't you just go ahead and give me the 4 dollars in your jar?"
Yeah lots of people seem to have that mentality...as if people can just pack up and move.
I know if I was in New Orleans, the same shit would be happening to me. I don't have the cash to cut and run, so what makes you think 99 percent of people in LA do?
