I can't really get past the music I love either, and a lot of new stuff just isn't doing it for me. It's like waking up in a different world.

Thanks for your thoughts. It helps to know I am not the only one thinking that.

Neither of those appeal to me and most new stuff doesn't. I agree with you, most anyone could do better. Just put a recorder in anyone's shower and let them howl while they wash.

I'm still young, so I guess it isn't good to say about a lot of people still in high school, but really I think kids are happy and entertained by less...not sure if they are dumber or just have lower expectations.

I promise I wasn't smoking mushrooms....or anything, when I drew this. It just sort of happened. I don't know if the snail is kissing the mushroom or nom nomming it.

It wouldn't be right without both brothers.

XD I was just reading about mushrooms for one of my classes. Fungi are just really... freaky. And mysterious. People can't really study them, because the actual fungi (the mushroom is like a fruit, or something) is this enormous underground thing, but it's very fragile. If you dig it up, it just falls apart. So, we don't know much about them. And I think the snail is kissing him. Definitely.

I did not know that about fungi....that is all shades of weird when you really think about it. An enormous entity right under out feet, huge and silent, but there!!! Good thing it is too fragile to rise up and kill us.

Sorry for being overly dramatic, I'm tired and moody and slightly out of it.

Thanks about my drawing. I've only recently started using color. I used to just do black and whites and only pens. Now I use markers some.

Hee hee That song is like a pandemic, but in a good way. It is spreading.

I told my friend what you said. He said he was like you, liked Nirvana and some select songs, but didn't really get into the Grunge movement...no flannel for him. ;)

I've heard some Nirvana songs and like it pretty much. I really like their MTV Unplugged songs.

I absolutely love the clouds in your picture, they just entice me for some reason. :)

It makes me sad to think about all the things I know being in the past and just another blip on the screen of time.

Oh man, I know what you mean. I'm gonna hang on to the music I know and love, thank you very much. Every once in a while I'll get music from my dad from when he was my age. I love the songs he gives me. Some of the newer stuff just isn't good. Like at all.

Thank you. I am glad you like the clouds. I love drawing clouds. :D

I do think I have "inherited" some music from my parents that is good...things from when they were younger. Probably more from my mother. My father was way into Roger Miller and Glen Campbell.

Some of the newer stuff just isn't good. Like at all.

Truer words have never been spoken. There is a lot of dubs floating around now. Travis says it is the decline of our civilization, art, music, and everything just isn't what it used to be.

Mine always look so uniform, yours are awesome. :)

I know I've got a lot by The Beatles, Joni Mitchell, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, Pete Townshend, Paul Simon, James Taylor, etc. Lots of stuff like that.

Travis says it is the decline of our civilization, art, music, and everything just isn't what it used to be.

This is so true and yet it makes me so sad at the same time.
