I was just about to make a post like this! Ha.

ANyways.... NOT related to your actual post, and not anonymous...

I was just wondering about your icon. You're not from the US and you won't be voting... why the Obama icon? Just curious :)

Lol. That would be because if I could vote for him I would. People in the UK are desperate for him to become president, who your president is effects the rest of the world especially us as we have such close ties with you. I will be very very gutted if John McCain becomes president, plus every time I see Sarah Palin on TV I want to punch a hole in the screen :p

So the icon is basically showing my support from the UK. I know a few Brits who are using icons of him atm :)

Oh no, I know it affects more than just us, here. I was just curious :)

Thanks for sharing!

Oh, and why so against McCain?

I love learning things :)

Firstly, he's boring! Wow, everytime I see him on TV he bored the hell out of me! Imagine having to listen to his speeches if he becomes president (they show them here too, lol). More than anything I think it comes down to how shit Bush is and that McCain will just be the same thing. George Bush scares the crap out of me.

As Russell Brand said at the VMAs last night:

“Please, America, elect Barack Obama. On behalf of the world. Some people, I think they’re called racists, say America is not ready for a black president. But I know America to be a forward-thinking country because otherwise why would you have let that retard and cowboy fella be president for eight years? We thought it was nice of you to let him have a go, because in England he wouldn’t be trusted with a pair of scissors.”

(Btw, there's a lot of fuss over what Russell said but it's what we think over here. Plus I've seen Russell live twice and he's amazing, lol)

I'm worried about what might happen if Obama doesn't win. But I wonder what might happen if he does.
