but honestly, i just need to be a little crazyyyy.
Since so many days have passed since I last updated, I cannot remember everything that I wanted to say. So I'll just post about yesterday.
Yesterday, albeit being a Saturday, started with me waking up at 6.30 to get ready for school. Yep, there was CO practice yesterday, and TJCO exchange with our school. At 7.30, the school saw an influx of our CO people streaming in for practice. The feeling was quite amazing, like everyone's a big family coming together.
Tuned, warmed up, practiced. Then bounced around and ate lunch while making gestures to the clarinet sectional leader who was also in the canteen (and is madly bossy).
Then the exchange~ Saw many xmgz seniors, hahaha. I did my best to keep away from Tang Yang, though once she managed to talk to me. Part transcript of our conversation goes like this:
TY: Eh! What are you doing here?
Me: Huh? I'm...in CO?
TY: What instrument did you join? (Yes she said that.)
Me: (in a false-and-highly-exaggerated-Chinese-accent) Zhongruaaaaan.
TY: (copies my accent) Zhongruaaaan. 烂!
I see she didn't change.
TJ's zhongruan has 11 players but only 1 J2. Who is highly scary and strict-ish. And I thought we have too many people.
But they're good players.
The dizi player is exceptionally good. According to the clarinet sectional leader (who has been watching us play without me knowing ._.) the dizi player's skills are "orgasmic". TJ's guzhengists are really good too. Both of them are from xmgz, so duhhh, hahaha.
We have a lot to learn from them.
Halfway through the exchange my left eye started hurting madly. It kept tearing and I could barely keep it open. But I tried to keep up by ear, though I'm not sure how well I did. I feel like I haven't given my all during the exchange due to my stupid eye. But it's much better now, thank you to everyone who was concerned.
The kind clarinet sl waited for me and we boarded the train together. A quote from the train ride home:
"We have a band showcase during mass civics for the J1s. We're going to make you so touched you'll cry. I'm going to make you so touched in every other way you have never been touched before, in every part possible. "
Yes, it's not meant to be pure.
Reached home at around 4 and skyped odys.
That mad bunch remain mad. They're my mad bunch.
Acorns, and chocolate from Australia, and random piano playing. And death threats, from "Can we open the acorns and eat them?"
I miss the mad bunch.
Signing off because there's a lot of homework to do. A random update before I go off, I've been addicted to Avril Lavigne's "What The Hell" and "Need You Now" by the Glee cast.
