Merry Xmas!
I decided to go a bit mad this year, in a if you can't beat them, join them, lets celebrate Xmas mood. Kirsty has also picked up a bit, so after i went shopping before dawn, Kirsty took me out to
at Hyde Park and then onto a yummy Chinese meal. Some of the Winterwonderland stuff,like riding on a ghost train brought back great memories of my Nan, who was always up for a laugh, as opposed to my mum who rarely was and besides was busy with my disabled dad. I remembered a "monster" jumping on the back of the ghost train, and my Nan laughing her head off. Well she could always be relied on to stay up late and watch old horror films, though she'd seen them when they first came out, maybe even when she was an usherette, which is where she met my Grandad.
I was not as brave as Kirsty on the Funhouse, too scared of knocking a bad knee or putting my back out, so i missed a couple of hazards out, but Nan would have took to Kirsty.
We are set for Xmas...we can't see the fridge light for food. I have a stack of DVDs i've been saving of all moods. I look forward to friends coming round on Boxing day.
