Reply to this post, and I will tell you which of your icons is my favourite. Then post this on your own journal using your own favourite icon.

Unfortunately I don't actually have a favourite icon. I like my evil cat eyes one just on principal, because it's a cat and cats rock. Lenore is good for when I feel random and weird in a ( Read more... )

Woo!

And, on a more comment-like note:

Is it ok to find a psychopathic, soul-devouring, back-stabbing and generally smug and self-satisfied git of a star god sexy?

I don't see a problem with that. Though he does look like some American parody in the back of the Eldar Collector's Guide (Harlequins, laughing god, etc.). Am on the case for icon.

::J.K.Rowling/Hufflepuff rant::

Because they do? Hard work and loyalty is merely a way to get you into an early grave: loyalty, admittedly, goes so far but more work than you have to is just slavedriving yourself when you could be getting some lackey to do it. Clearly. In case you hadn't noticed, natural talent is something all evil people have, and don't try and tell me you're not evil cos la-la-la I'm not listening.

I like your Romulan 'It's a good day to die?' one best.

And I'm currently glaring daggers your way thanks to your Hufflepuff remarks! I would definitely end up in Hufflepuff house, and I'm proud of that fact! And I'm definitely not like any of those snobby idiots that J.K.Rowling keeps writing about. I couldn't handle having loads of minions doing all my dirty work for me since I'm crap at being authoritative and I'd get bored - I like having stuff to keep me busy. And no I'm not evil, I'm just very attracted to people that are.

Pff, I have a good picture of you proving otherwise. Though it's mostly Ilya you're being evil to, which is less evil and more... hmm... disciplinary?

Daggers are no match for my spoons!

I'm kinda curious about this, I don't recall any such photo. What was going on exactly?

And I don't think being mean to Ilya counts as being evil. I prefer to think of it as justice :)

Go on then :) I've got a story behind two of them.

My favourite of yours is Fuchsia.

You know, I'm not sure whether the Hufflepuffs' image is really JKR's attitude towards hard work and loyalty or whether it's meant to reflect the sort of prejudices and image problems and attitudes you get at school as a way of making things seem more realistic along with the bullying etc but I don't know, it annoyed me that they are always presented as under achieving.

I'm lost about the icon you're looking for, Deceiver, Necrons :S I can give you a sight where you can find some nice paintings inspired by Russian folklore though if you like.

My favourite is the autumnal bird icon. I'd like to hear about the two paintings you've got though, I've never really understood what's going on in them but it looks interesting!

Couldn't find the Deceiver picture you wanted on the web. Looks like you'll have to scan it in from the codex.

I did however find a Nightbringer picture that you can trim:

Or if you don't want to trim it, you could take this one:

Hmm, thankyou for trying, but I'm afraid it has to be the Deceiver. I suppose I shall just have to wait until I get access to a scanner.
