I have finished my playlist for Cheshire. Its 73 minutes.
:
"White Rabbit" - Collide
The characters name is Cheshire. DO YOU REALLY NEED TO ASK
"Fairytale in a Storm" - The Last Dance
'farrytale, I am, I am,..I am I am unsatiable, I can I can do anything, I can I am my emeny..." The whole song, about the bittersweetness of fairy tales, is so indicative of Chesh. She's still very much a little girl with dreams and fantasies and such.
"Stars" - Lacuna Coil
"We'll take our hearts outside, leave our lives behind, and watch stars collide" This song represents her desire to just sorta let it all go and slip into the stream of things.
" 'Till the End of Time" - Delerium
Its actually rather bittersweet, obviously the time reference and such.
"The Haunting" The Last Dance
Again, bittersweet, about the haunting of love and loss, something that little miss Chesh has been through many times
"Gone" - Tea Party
"so, if you see my angel of light, with her sweet wine, could you let me know, because i think she's gone again" So many times, many men, have uttered those words about our sweet Chesire.
"Love Song" - The Cure
Do you have to ask?
"Cuts You Up" - Peter Murphy
Well, the whole song is very Cheshire. A declaration of love to someone special, how difficult that is, ect. Are we sensing a pattern here?!
"Heaven Coming Down" - Tea Party
The start of the song is a bunch of clocks ticking, which is indicative to time and such. The rest of the song is very mellow and bittersweet but speaks of being loved and loving in return
"And it feels now, Just like heaven's coming down, Your soul shakes free, As its conscience hits the ground, These signs, this fate, Takes a path you didn't choose, Stay Strong, Keep Faith, There is a change that's, Coming through, Hold on my love, Hold on..."
"How Soon is Now" - The Smiths
Its not exactly a happy go lucky song, which I love. The tune itself is just awesome, and its a song the Chesh -loves-, especially the line
"You shut your mouth, How can you say, I go about things the wrong way ?, I am Human and I need to be loved, Just like everybody else does"
"All Mine" - Portishead
This song is a very "james bond"-y type song, which is illistrates her complete desire for the person that she loves. For as long as it lasts.
For the Lyrics, go herel "Just Like Heaven" - The Cure
Its a happy little tune about obsessive love and losing it. "You, soft and only, you, lost and loney, you, strangers angles, dancing in the deepest ocean, exsisting in a world, just like a dream"
"Sister Awake" - Tea Party
"and you'll hear them call out your name, invoking the fates, chances are you've travelled too far, in stirring their hate, what will it take, sister awake , awake"
Need I say more?
"Kiss Them For Me" - Siouxsie and the Banshees
"Kiss them for me, I may find myself delayed" Becasue she likes this song, no matter how truely fucked it is.
"Face to Face" - Sioxsie and the Banshees
A song that she's already posted ic to her journal because there is something very feline about this song, and she is the eternal kitty
"As The World Falls Down" - David Bowie
Labarynth is on of her favorite movies and Cheshire is very much a fairy tale creature. Falling in love with the goblin king is one of her many goals.
"Comalies" - Lacuna Coil
"Wandering from you, Falling at your side, Wandering from you, Healing my desire " Its about as love song as Lacuna Coil gets and I think its beautiful. That and Chesh has a soft spot for Italians.
Well hope you enjoyed it. :-)
