I didn't even get an interview at the middle school where I worked for the first half of the year...where I was recommended by the other 8th grade teacher and the department head at the high school...and now I feel like I am doomed to work in the boonies and blow all my income on gas money and car repairs. Fuck, fuck, fuck.

Don't reject valid offers for employment just because they are in the "boonies." Travel can suck, but... there are options to forgive student loans and such for such employment.

Just sayin'. Sometimes it is better to assume an inconvenience than maintain a locale. Sometimes. ;-)
