From: Kyuhyunnie

Meet me at the coffee shop near the dorms at 4 PM. I will wait until you come.

Love,

always your Kyuhyun.

What a way to kick-start his morning - an urge to commit adultery. Ryeowook can already picture what would happen if he met up with Kyuhyun again, just the two of them. He could imagine the warmth of the other man's skin in his hold, the sweet taste of the him on his tongue. He could imagine Kyuhyun's lips all over his body - they would make sweet, sweet love all night and wake up tangled in the sheets with each-

Ryeowook kicks his blanket away, got up, and made his way towards the kitchen. Why isn't Ahra home? She didn't come home last night, too. Ryeowook's days had been jam-packed with schedules - and even when he's not attending his schedules, he'd been busy running around Seoul to meet various people. Hairdressers, fitting stage outfits, rehearsals, extra recordings... After all that, he kind of went home expecting his wife to be curled up in bed waiting for him. She hasn't been, in about three nights.

It worries him that his wife isn't home, of course it does. Ryeowook has been trying to phone her, calls that Ahra would normally pick up before the second ring, calls that Ahra would hate to miss. Calls that Ahra always answered cheerily, calls that had the eavesdropping coordi noonas teasing Ryeowook endlessly, because apparently they sound like teenage sweethearts.  Ryeowook remembered her sulking because his call went to her mailbox - she had missed him, and he was busy, that was the only time he can spare to call. Though, it didn't even cross Ryeowook's mind to be jealous of the fact that maybe, Ahra is seeing another man behind him. The thought didn't send him panicking frantically, either.

It's just odd that she isn't answering his calls. Odd that she isn't coming home. This is not like Ahra.

In the end, Ryeowook left her a text. It's somewhere along the lines of Baby, where are you? Are you home? and Ahra, it's late. Come back home. None of which she answered, either. Ryeowook made a mental note to beg his manager for a break, to search for his lost wife.

Ryeowook sets his coffee on the coffee table, when his eyes noticed a brown envelope, with to Ryeowook written neatly on the cover in Ahra's neat writing. He opened the enveloped, eyes widening as he scanned the papers inside them.

Divorce papers.

He flips the papers in disbelief, only to find that Ahra has filled them in neatly and signed in all the necessary places. Why the hell is his wife asking for a divorce? Ryeowook paled. He really believed he convinced everybody that he really did love Ahra. He did it so well, he almost convinced himself, if not for the longing glances he sent Kyuhyun and the dreams he had of him every once in a while. He knew Ahra knew he loved her. Ahra knew. Wasn't he a good enough husband, or were his efforts not enough? Is he not enough, not fitting to be a husband?

A letter slipped out from between the papers onto the floor, and Ryeowook picked it up. Unfolding it none too gently, his eyes scanned the neat blocks of Hangul that his wife wrote. It reads,

Dearly beloved, Kim Ryeowook,

Ryeowook-ah... firstly thank you for having me, accepting me as a wife these months we are married. I am very, very happy and blessed to have been married to someone like you. Even when you are busy, you still made your wife the happiest woman in the world. I was the happiest woman in the world to have been with you. Thank you, Ryeowook-ah.

It took me a really long time to write this letter, and I hope you'd find it before the documents. Only then you'd understand why I am doing this. When you're sitting with your sweet coffee, the way I know you like it, on the couch, reading this, I'd be staying at my parents'. Do not worry about me, I'm okay and will be okay.

My heart ached thinking of the words to say to you... that's why it took a really long time. Sorry, Ryeowook-ah, noona has postponed your happiness this long. I decided that the words should be frank and straightforward.

After you signed these papers and submitted them, please go meet Kyuhyun, and start over with him. I know that you're in love with him- I saw you two kissing on our wedding day, and even long before that. I ... couldn't think of words to say then, and kept in mind that it was part of my imagination only. But as time went I realized one thing... I was keeping you from the person you loved. It was selfish of me to let you go forward with the wedding... Maybe, the ring I was wearing isn't meant for my finger. You can find it on my dresser.

I love you, Ryeowook-ah. I loved you as a husband. But as time went by, I realized that even though you love me, you were never quite in love with me. There's a difference to that and I'm sure you know it. I started loving you as a noona would her dongsaeng, to keep myself from hurting. It's okay, I'm not blaming you. You've been a wonderful, if not more, husband, and it makes me happy that you tried to love me. You stayed faithful. Thank you, Ryeowook-ah.

This letter isn't too clear, is it? The bottom line is.... sign the papers, and go meet Kyuhyun. You'd be doing me as well as yourself a favor. Noona wants you happy with the one you really love, Ryeowook-ah. When you've found your happiness with him... that's when we'll meet again, as a noona and her brother in law. I look forward to your wedding day, if that's even possible ^^

I love you, Ryeowook-ah. Please believe that I did this for both of us. Be happy, don't worry about me. You spent these months making me a really happy woman, now I should make you happy.

With love,

Cho Ahra

Ryeowook stared blankly at the letter for what seemed like half of forever. He traced with his thumb the places where the ink was smudged, Ahra must have been crying, and Ryeowook cursed himself mentally because he knows that Ahra was hurting. Only, he knew a bit too late. Before he realized, tears started falling from his eyes. He leaned back and closes his eyes.

"Noona.... why are you so stupid? Why did you even agree to marry me..."

Ryeowook took a pen, and, with shaking hands, signed the divorce papers. He thought of the days they'd spent together - how he failed miserably to bring happiness to the last woman he would love.

Goodbye, noona. I hope you can find the one.

It was raining when Ryeowook reached the cafe. It was mostly empty, oddly, with no people trying to shelter from the rain. Even the workers did not seem to be around - did Kyuhyun rent out the whole place?  He looked around, then approached the chair where Kyuhyun was sitting. He tried to call the younger man - but his throat felt dry and he couldn't choke words out, for all he tried.

It has been so long, far too long since he last observed Kyuhyun so closely. He wouldn't even dare do so before, trying to keep himself from doing things they might regret. The younger got skinnier, Ryeowook observed, and more handsome than he had remembered. Kyuhyun stood at the sight of Ryeowook, trying to form words at his lips and failing. They stared into each other's eyes, trying to convey emotions and longing, as well as confusion. There sure are things to be said, but there are things that are not meant to be said, anyway.

"Ryeo--"

Ryeowook cut his words short and enveloped Kyuhyun into a tight embrace. Kyuhyun held Ryeowook in his arms like he did while they were together, only with so much more passion and untold affection. More love. They stayed that way for a really long time, trying to convey the unsaid words through their bodies pressed together, until Ryeowook started sobbing into Kyuhyun's shoulders.

"She found out...."

"Shh... I know. She told me to do this - wished for our happiness."

"I hurt your sister - do you want to beat me up now?"

Kyuhyun lifted Ryeowook's chin and kissed him, hard, on the lips. The kiss turned soft and passionate - one that made Ryeowook go weak at the legs and his stomach fill with endless butterflies, just like when he was a teenager with puppy love. Just like it was his first kiss.

Only he knew, this time is not puppy love. This was real. He finally got the chance to be with the person who made him feel like it's his first, and last, love. And he knew, he knew that Kyuhyun felt the same way. It, the feeling, was like energy transferred through the kiss. Now, how could he even imagine, let alon live, a life without Kyuhyun?

Before they knew it, they are stumbling out of the cafe, hands on each other as much as possible, and rushing towards any empty room in the Super Junior dorm.

- -

Kyuhyun woke up the next morning basking in the morning sunlight streaming through the windows. Last night had been like a dream - so much that Kyuhyun had feared it'd been a dream. It was a nothing short of perfect - a night with the one he loves in his arms, who whimpered his name as Kyuhyun whispered endless words of love into his ear, bringing them both mindless pleasure as well as ... well, love.  It would have made a perfect dream, but still it would just be a dream. He was a little bit afraid to glance to his side, fearing that it would be empty and Ryeowook wouldn't be beside him.

But then he realized there was warmth, the warmth of Ryeowook's naked body against his own, hugging his arm so tightly, like Kyuhyun would disappear if he let go. A wide smile spread on Kyuhyun's features - lighting up his eyes and curving up his lips - and Kyuhyun himself couldn't tell if it was more of relief or sheer happiness. It was both, a fine mixture of both.

Kyuhyun relaxed into the bed and pulled Ryeowook closer to himself, kissing his forehead gently. The gesture woke up the older of the two, who blinked a few times to get himself used to the sunlight and Kyuhyun's body so close to his own. Kyuhyun wondered if Ryeowook had that surge of relief washing over him too, that what they did last night wasn't merely a dream.

"Good morning, Ryeowook-ah."

"Kyuhyun-ah.......... we... you, me... it wasn't a dream?" Ryeowook mumbled. Kyuhyun smiled, stroked Ryeowook's cheek and kissed his forehead again.

"I'm sorry, for saying things I didn't mean. For not snatching you away that day. For ... the times we could have been together but we're not, because of my stupidity."

Ryeowook opened his mouth and closed it again - at loss for words. Instead he reached up to Kyuhyun's lips, pressing it with his own in a soft kiss.

And that morning, the couple forgot about the mistakes and the untold words, the words they didn't mean and the days they spent apart, longing endlessly for each other. That morning, and from that morning onwards, there was Kyuhyun for Ryeowook and Ryeowook for Kyuhyun, and that's all that mattered to the two of them.

"I love you."

"I know."

"Yah!"

"Of course I love you too, Kyuhyun-ah."
