I noticed that. I assumed that was how you found me/why you friended me.
I've looked up your yearbook photo and honestly don't have any recollection of you from the time, though I've got a notoriously bad memory for faces.
At some point we need to reminisce about names we know in common. [I'm a bit weirded out to discover thru http://www.countrysidealumni.com/ that Andy Wood is a college professor. Never would've expected that of him.]
Yup, was looking over the few CHS LJ listings, for mid 80's and took a look at their stuff. You had stuff about Shakespeare: Cool!
I don't remember you from HS either.
I was a short, tiny (sub 100 lbs) anti-social band geek. Outside of a table full of lunch friends, no one knew me and I really didn't pay attention to people either. Was always reading. Library folks knew me by my card number; A-17.
The name Andy Wood sounds familiar but drawing a blank on face.
Don't know if you remember crazy looking science professor who used to put on weird chemistry shows? When I was doing mobile computer repair in the area, a few years ago, I ended up at his place, setting up a new computer. Turns out he's just like that Monk character on t.v. He had to leave the room while I unpacked the computer boxes. He couldn't take all the chaos and disorder in his house. I made sure to pack the boxes back up with all the packing so they looked like new for him (was Apple/Mac; nice packing). Very odd guy.
Don't know if you remember crazy looking science professor who used to put on weird chemistry shows? Straubo the Magnifico!
Yeah, I had him for chemistry one semester, fun guy but strange.
I was also short & tiny, sub 100 lbs. Beeeg glasses, shoulder-length straight black hair, flat-chested and underdeveloped... generally below the radar. I used to spend my lunches hanging out in the library with my small handful of friends. We even named our library table :)
Trying to think of upperclassmen I hung out with when I was a frosh, but most of them were sophomores, rather than your year. Gary Akins, Jeff Sockwell, um... names are escaping me.
