Now I feel bad because my mom was appearantly upset that I was upset (which I was totally unaware of) and caved in. The picture is now hanging in my room and while i am very happy that it has been returned to me, I am also very ashamed of myself. Its funny, but I felt justified in being angry until my mom gave me back the painting and all of the

I love you Bear. And I know your mom does too--it's quite obvious every time I'm at your house. I understand how you feel, but I know how much your parents love you. Sorry about all the drama about the painting and I'm glad that it finally ended up in your room. I don't think you were being selfish, but I also don't thhink your mom quite knew how strongly you felt about it. Probably, in the future, if something like this ever happens again, you should just talk to her.
