We went to Pride yesterday in Jackson and had an absolute blast!
I had such a fun time. Courtney and I were running around as our Light and Shadow bunnies. Blanche and Noire? I like that.
Everyone loves our outfits! I liked how we were a stark contrast to all the color there.
Collin was so exited to see me! His face just lit up when I excitedly greeted and hugged him! 🥺✨✨ I also kissed him on the cheek. 💕
We got to see a lot of friends! Chelsea Turnbo, Colleen & Tessa, Sarah Beth, and Robin's (cousin?? Nephew????) Andrew! I lost contact with him years ago and now he's out and accepted himself as being Pan, and I'm so proud of him! I'm really glad he's in a much better place now.
Colleen had a bit of a shutdown when Collin walked in.
We ended up buying Colleen a few little gifts bc her 30th birthday happened recently, and we couldn't find her presents before we left x.x
When we went to give them to her, she was HIGHLY absorbed in her phone and appeared to be ignoring us. (But I know she was having a hard time.)
Until we gave her the things (she was texting like mad, probably to her bestie, Kristen).
I got her a keychain that said, "Be real, not perfect." And Courtney got her a tiny pokemon terrarium, and a carebear mystery pack.
Courtney kept standing there and waiting for her to open the things, And I had to murmur to her that Colleen seemed upset; so we told her we would come back in a little while and gave her some space.
That seemed like the right call to do, bc she was better when we came to say goodbye. We got a picture together and hugged and she opened her little care bear thing.
It was several pairs of earrings... Unfortunately, she can't wear the studs, but maybe she can use them for something.
We went upstairs to take a pic in front of the Pride banner, and make TikToks!
One of them, where we were making Häschen Party, Collin just started busting out silly dance moves and you can see when he started doing it in the video 🤣🤣 Just started throwing it in a circle, I was DYING.
After we left Pride, Courtney and I did a quick half change in the parking lot into our OOTD.
We followed Collin over to Third Eye Curiosities. It's a record and trinket shop! I was having fit over all the artists they had that I knew!
I bought Carol King's Tapestry and a mixed record of 50/60's hits. Courtney got a ONE OK ROCK CD that Collin recommended. Kim loves that band!
(Random fact: Found out he's 6'2" and I'm pretty sure his eyes are green.)
He sure is purdy!
After we left there, we went to Spirit Halloween, and we're randomly dancing in the sto
