Early Thanksgiving

Because everyone has different plans for this week, my family celebrated Thanksgiving today with one of our traditions-a barbecue. No matter what the weather, we always have a barbecue to celebrate one of these three: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year

I want to thank you and your parents for inviting me to your Thanksgiving barbecue and allowing Mike to come with me. He loved meeting everyone and feasting on all the food and treats. He and I are going to see Red Dawn on opening day -- his treat with his gift card. I gave him your address so he can send a TY card. He was most impressed with that game. ♥

*groans* Another Chess food post. Sounds fantastic, especially the pecan pie and vanilla ice cream. Yum!

The pie was still slightly warm when my mom served it and it went perfectly with the vanilla ice cream. I am not a pie person, but I love pecan pie.
