As a novice and not particularly interested cook (I can make anything you like as long as the second part of the name is "on toast") I can feel the pain here. I am brilliant at egg seperation until the very very last second when the yolk punctures and pours into the cup. If the receipe calls for "3 eggs, seperated" I tend to make sure I have a dozen available...

Lol, I see I'm not the only one who is eggly-challenged. Also, what drives me absolutely bonkers is when I crack the egg perfectly, neatly open the shell and it drops into the bowl but at the last second a tiny piece of shell breaks off and slides to the bottom. Chasing that tiny piece of egg shell around the bottom of the bowl gives new meaning to the word "patience".
