OOC: Working on my Awakening Concept

It starts with this.

I know he was here when it happened. I know why he was there and how he survived. I've a general idea of where he's been since then and I'm filling in the blank spots. I know where he was born, I've got a good handle on his personality and I know why he's in L.A ( Read more... )

dang. it feels so weird to see everyone ready to roll with Mage when I don't know anything about it. Of course it's cause I'm making myself read through Forsaken first and that's taking a while. And I want to write out my PC's background eventhough it's kind of moot.

The concept is intriguing. look forward to hearing more. (When I do start reading remind me that STing sucks ass and I don't want to do it again.)

There are whole sections of the Forsaken book I haven't read, but that's partly because I chose to play a recently changed character.

I was going to say, "If you liked the old Mage, you'll probably like the new Mage," but then it occured to me that I have no basis whatsoever for saying that with regards to anyone. Hell, I didn't even really like the old Mage (as a game concept).

*shrug* I've gone out of my way to scan the updates from WW for all the genre books they've put out so far, so I like to get a jump on things.

I'll see what I can do about hookin' ya up with a chapter or two. :)

Found your IC LJ by way of Neka's.

I'm playing an Obrimos Free Council who is pretty active throughout the NE, and his cabal definitely would have been active in NYC at that time.

I'd love to work a tie-in.
