You act surprised? It's just a sealant you know. What else are they going to do if a nuclear reactor cracks, shut the whole thing down and put in a new one?

but this implies that i can make a fallout shelter with nothing but duct tape now. no more theory but actual proof

i think sheets of lead would be cheaper and more efficient in the long run, and just use the duct tape to seal the holes.
