Yup...I doubt Mr. Valentine ever knew he would be confused with the Greek god Eros (who, on this day, is often confused with his mother, Aphrodite). I had some friends crash at my house on Friday the 13th. The next morning my mom woke us all up by driving to the store to buy me a few pieces of candy in a bright Barbie-like pink heart-shaped box. She then thudded into my room and dropped the sweets down with a little card. The lameness of the box came second to the lameness of the card. She told me in the card that she appreciates that I do so much for her and the house - yet everyday she screams at me and tells me otherwise. She concluded the card by saying, "Kind of glad you stayed home for college..." LOL! "Kind of glad"!! Hah...well at least that part was honest
