CHAPTER 4
Siwon keep insisting to send he home that day. But he manage to escape when he say he important things to do. He jog to his work place after making sure Siwon is not following him anymore. Another tiring day for him. Yes, he work at a bar as a bartender. To be exact, a gay bar. When he reached there, his co-worker also his friend, Junsu greet him.
“Hey, Hyukjae. You’re late.” Junsu said while sweeping the floor. They haven’t open the bar yet. They’re preparing to open the bar later at the night. Hyukjae hastily go to the locker room to change into his white uniform. After that, he joins Junsu cleaning the chairs and tables.
“I’m sorry. I got a lot to do in the new school.”
“Oh yeah, you’re going to the new school today, right? So, how was it?” Junsu ask with a curious smile. Hyukjae just return the smile with a bitter smile. But Junsu didn’t saw it. When Hyukjae keep bent his head down, he suspect Hyukjae face closer.
“What with the cut?” Junsu ask suddenly. Hyukjae stutter.
“ Uh-oh. I just fell.”
“ Really? it doesn’t look like a cut from fell though.”
“ Really.” Junsu shrugged it off.
“ Anyway, it must be great right to be in a luxurious school. You can be friend with rich people. How the student there?” Junsu is excited make him didn’t realize the sad expression Hyukjae is wearing.
“They’re all great and nice. It’s great there.” Hyukjae’s voice is rather gloomy than excited. He kept his head low as he continue to rub clean the tables. His eyes start to water but he successfully hold it.
“ Have you made friends?” Junsu is still in his asking mode. He was so excited when knowing that Hyukjae is going to the school. Why? Because his certain crush also schooling there. Namely, Park Yoochun.
When Junsu ask him that, a smile suddenly tugged on his lips. Siwon’s image start to fill his mind. He forget about his experience in his first day immediately. Junsu feel weird by sudden change of his friend attitude but shrugged it off. He decide to let it go since Hyukjae has no attention to answer his question. They just continue cleaning silently.
When they open the bar, many gay couple start to crowd. Loud music filling the crowded place with dim colorful light. Hyukjae is doing is work behind the bar when suddenly a drunken guy lay against the bar, staring closely at Hyukjae’s face. Hyukjae scrunch his nose due to the guys breath, strong of alcohol.
“Hey, beautiful. Wanna have a drink with me?” He lift his hand and touch Hyukjae smooth cheek. Hyukjae just push the sleazy hand politely saying he’s working. But the guy is persistent. He kept on disturbing Hyukjae. Hyukjae can’t do anything since he’s a customer. It’s his boss orders that customer can do anything they want.
Since it was a gay bar, it’s very hard for a beautiful guy like Hyukjae to survive a day without been grope all over the body and even nearly been raped. Nothing new for workers there to have hands linger on their body. For those who want more money, they’ll just entertain and even sleep with the customer.
But Hyukjae never do that. There’s a lot of people that offer him a very high price to sleep with them, young or old horny man. Some even offers him luxury if he spend the night with them. Although it sound usual for those who working at a bar like him, but he never wants to get involve with those dirty activity. Hyukjae work at the the bar because of the good pay. Because he needs the money.
He then goes to the store to take a box of new beer. Unknown to him, the drunken guy earlier is following him and close the store door. He silently crept up behind Hyukjae and hug him from behind. Hyukjae feel so surprised and start to panic thinking it’s hard to ask for help because the loud music outside.
He start to struggle but only to make the guy hugs on him tighter. He titled his head to the side and view his attacker’s face.
“T-Taecyeon, let m-me go!” Hyukjae keep on struggling. He knows the guy name because the guy is daily customer. Taecyeon has been trying to hit on him since the first day he work there but he pay no attention. But that only make Taecyeon wanted the boy more.
The bigger guy slammed him against the wall make his aching body hurt more. When Hyukjae’s weak punch hit his chest, he pinned both of Hyukjae wrist to the side and start to kiss the helpless male focefully. His tongue tried to pry Hyukjae’s lips apart but Hyukjae shut his mouth tightly. The cut from Donghae’s punch bleed again.
He shake his head to left and right escape his lips from the kiss. Growling in anger, Taecyeon slap him hard on both cheek. Hyukjae feels his world is spinning. He start to get weaker and weaker from his constant struggle. Taecyeon start to attack his bruised neck violently.
That explain the bruises he got on his neck and all over his body. When he refuse those dirty offers, the customer tends to become angry and try to take him forcefully. For Taecyeon himself, this is not the first time he’s doing this to Hyukjae. He start to unbutton the weak man clothes.
Before he can discard the clothes away, the door being opened, revealing Junsu and Kibum, his other friend. Junsu grabbed Taecyeon by his shoulder and launch his punch straight to Taecyeon face make Taecyeon stumble. Taecyeon start to throw punch too but Junsu able to dodge the attack and kneed him on his crotch. He fall on the ground with his hand on his ‘little Taecyeon’ .
Meanhile, Kibum go to help Hyukjae up from the ground. He put his arm around Hyukjae’s waist with Hyukjae’a arm around his shoulder. He take Hyukjae out of the store toward their locker room. A minute later, Junsu come.
“Thanks again. You’re saving me for nth time.” Hyukjae said weakly. It’s true. Junsu and Kibum is his savior, his hero. Always save him when something like that happen again and again. He loss the count how many times the two males save him. Also, because of those two, he still got his most important thing with him, his virginity. Yea, he’s a virgin.
Junsu frowned. “I’ve told you not to go alone to wherever you’re going. Ask me or Kibum to go with you.” It happens again. When will those bastard will stop from trying to rape his friend?
“But you guys is busy. Beside, until when i have rely on you two. Both of you got your own life too. Not only saving me all the time. You shouldn’t waste your time with me. You’ve help me enough. I’m such a burden.”
“Hyung, never say that ever again. You’re not only a friend to us, you’re our hyung. Of course we’ll never let something bad happen to you. If not, who’s going to help me and Junsu hyung with our study? You’re never a burden to us. You’re our angel.” Kibum said with a shaking voice. Tears start to pool in his corner of eyes just by thinking about his hyung words.
He can’t bring himself to imagine his life without Hyukjae, Hyukjae just like a real brother to him. Hyukjae is his neighbor. They live in poor chaotic neighborhood. He and his brothers, is being abandon by their parents since they’re little. His brothers, Jaejoong and Junsu have to work since they’re little to support their life. His oldest brother Jaejoong is currently working at a restaurant as a chef since he can cook great dishes.
When he start his high school, Kibum decide he should work to lighten his brothers burden. Jaejoong and Junsu strongly disagree with their dongsaeng at first, but after being persuade plus their little brother puppy eye, they agree but on one condition, he has to work at the same place with one of his brother. Since he not really fond of kitchen, he choose to work at Junsu work place.
They’ve been really close to Hyukjae. They share everything. Hyukjae just like brother with them. Kibum stare at Hyukjae’s face. Something is bothering Hyukjae again. But Kibum don’t want to ask. Not when Hyukjae’s condition like this.
“Hyung, just go home and rest. I’ll tell the boss about this.”
“ No, Kibum-ah. I still can work.”
“ But, hyung.”
“ Please Kibum. Besides, i really need money now. Don’t worry too much okay? I can take care of myself. Thank you so much for worrying about me and save me again. I don’t know how to pay your kindness.” Hyukjae hold both Kibum and Junsu hand. The two brothers take Hyukjae into their embrace making a group hug *i wanna be in the middle of them*
Meanwhile
“Changmin-ah, why this bar? It’s a gay bar. Surely hot chicks didn’t come here. Our usual spot is more fun. Hot chicks is everywhere.”
“B-But Yunho hyung, i wanna try a new place. It’s already boring there. Why don’t we give this bar a shot? Maybe it’s more fun.”
“And beside, our Changmin’s crush is working here.” Donghae butt in out of a sudden. Yunho wide his eyes. His step come to a halt, facing his dongsaeng.
“Omo, my baby brother already got a crush!! And i don’t even know?” Yunho ask dramatically. Changmin smack his own forehead.
“So how was he? What his name? How old is he? Where did he school? Want me to investigate him for you? Want me to help you to get him? want me to-...”
“HYUNG!!! One at a time!” Changmin blush. They are in front of Angel Paradise, a famous gay bar in town. Changmin keep on persuading his hyungs to come here ever since he found out that his crush work there. So, here they are.
“I’m so excited to see my future brother-in-law. Aigoooo~~~ my baby brother has become a man. So cuteeee~~” Yunho ruffled Changmin’s hair. Changmin push Yunho’s hand off his head and tidy his smooth hair.
“ You’re the one who say i’ve become a man. So, treat me like one. I’m not a baby anymore.”
“ But, you’re still my baby brother. And you’re too cute.” Yunho pinch Changmin’s cheek. Again the annoyed male push his brother hand away, pouting. Their friends just smile at the brothers antics namely Donghae, Nickhun, Yoochun, Kyuhyun, Kangin, and Hankyung.
“Okay, cut it off guys. Lets go inside. Lets drink!” When it come to drink, surely it’s Kangin. The 8 male made their way into the bar. Although some is still underage, they can get in. Why? Because with money, nothing is impossible.
Loud music filled the whole dance floor. Everyone enjoying themselves, dancing to the beat of the music. Some is making out openly. Some is drinking forgetting the whole world. They walk through the crowd and take place at a empty big round table. Changmin’s eyes is scanning everywhere, searching for a certain person. Kangin, Hankyung and Yoochun start to order various type of alcohols. Kyuhyun just sit there silently with his game console in hand. Why he’s here anyway?
As for other three, they have join the crowd. Listening the ear piercing music, Donghae start to move to the sync. He and the other two is engrossed in their own world. Having passion in dancing, make Donghae love to come to a bar. He can dance without anyone to clap or admire or even drool over him.
Some girl start to come and dance with him. Donghae smirk knowing this earlier. He just go with the rhythms and grinds their body together make the slutty girl moans shamelessly.
After half an hour, the dancing trio decide they should rest for a while and walk toward their table with half drunken Kangin, Yoochun and Hankyung there. Changmin is nowhere to be seen. Kyuhyun is as usual, too busy with his game to care about his hyungs.
Donghae take up a glass of beer and drink it in one go with the dancing girl on his lap kissing his neck. Seriously, he don’t even know her name and he don’t want to know either. The only thing he know, there is someone who gonna warm his bed tonight.
They talk happily about random thing until Donghae’s sharp eyes caught a familiar figure. A smirk immediately appear on his handsome face.
Unknown to the figure, a devil is in his way.
