i think that i agree with your cousin. if you are not feeling grad school right now then there's no reason to put yourself through it just yet. you can always go back and do it later if you decide that you need or want to.

if you were to move to your cousins' apartment i'm sure that you could find new friends and possibly a relationship/future spouse. there are many more people in nyc than there are in tampa...
