I shouldn't have to rely on other people to understand shit going on in an entry level gen ed class. The labs are completely different from the class. Class - all notes. Lab - all math. The class might quickly mention stuff we do in lab. And in lab it's not really explained what to do. We're supposed to be able to read the shit and do it. Granted
