Just be careful with that. A lot of people who take breaks during undergrad don't come back. I'm not saying you won't, but it's really hard to.

Of course I'll be careful... the plan is that I'd take only one semester.... I have plenty of time... and I need some of it for myself and to be with family. *sigh*
I dont know for sure yet, and my parents will probably freak but I think it's something that I need to do....

Family tends to try to talk people out of things like this. If you want to do it, do it.

My dad's probably going to freak, but if I have to I'm sure I can find a place to live while I'm off for a semester if need be. *sigh* I'll mention something about it in my daily email to my mom tomorrow... we'll see..
