In Ms. Jong's fucked up world, we shiksas are their rebellion, their punishment on Mom and Dad for having tormented their wangs.

In her mind, apparently intermarriage is so bad for Judaism that it would be better to abandon one of mitzvahs (circumcision) in order to avoid driving insecure men to it. Racist and blasphemous! Way to go!

Well, late to the party as always, but not fashionably late, since I'm typing this in boxers. (boxers which contain my circumcised semitic wang, about which I cannot stop thinking apparently)

As for Ms. Jong's tragic farce of an article, I stopped reading it after the first few paragraphs. Even opinion columns require some sort of epistemological framework in my world...Dave Barry never shied away from citing sources in his writing. It seems to me that Erica Jong's mind is probably a pretty unpleasant place to be, and even the 48 seconds of time I wasted on internalizing her ideas has caused me permanent mental scarring.

But of course, that was th reason you posted this, no?
