Howdy. Sorry to bother you on your LiveJournal, but I got your username from the feedback page for the LJ Friends Reader Yahoo Widget that you wrote. I noticed a few people were having problems where it only ever displays "No Posts Found". Unfortunately I'm one of those people. Just wanted to check to see if you knew of a quick fix? Something I'm doing wrong?
LOL. Looks like you figured it out while I was typing my response. I commented on Yahoo Widgets Gallery a thank you, and for other people to check that out.
Unfortunately, I cannot recreate the issue. At times in the past, LJ has changed the format of the page I use to generate the list, and I've had to update my widget to address that change. At this point, I'm running what is the latest version of my widget (available on the Widgets Gallery) and it seems to be parsing just fine. The only thing I can venture is that the password may be incorrect, or - if you are connected to the internet through a school or college provider that requires you to "log in" before browsing the internet, then you need to open IE and "log in" before starting the widget.
Sorry you are having trouble. If neither of these are the case, you could download the Widget Converter, convert my widget to a folder (drag and drop the widget file onto the converter widget). Then open the file in that folder that ends in ".kon" in NotePad or some text editor and change the line "off" to "on" and save it. Once you've done this, double click on the ".kon" file and configure the widget with your username and password,
