I meant to respond to everyone's posts yesterday. That didn't happen. I also meant to post one of my own yesterday. That didn't happen. Yesterday was a lazy day. But I'm actually back...anyone surprised?

I'm going to make a bold statement right now: this weekend was one of the best weekends of my life. And I mean that.

You know what? I tend to disagree. The bad stuff comes and goes and makes us appreciate the good stuff more. This too shall pass. (yes, I know, when did I become Suzy freaking Sunshine?) I have every confidence that you will be happy again. You deserve it, you've earned it, and damnit I DEMAND IT! haha.

You should listen to "Good Things" by Sleater Kinney. It's not a happy song, don't worry. :o)

I've heard some friends, whose opinions I regard HIGHLY, trash "300".
Usually, they have philosophical reservations about the message of the film. That's fine, but the movie grabs you and doesn't let you go for 120 plus minutes.
That ain't easy to do :)

Wow...I think you just put into (very few) words what I've been trying to think of for days. Yes, it does just grab you. 10 minutes in I was digging my nails into my boyfriend's hand and I don't think I stopped until the credits were done.
