So tonight confirms that I am, in fact, Ellen Cherry (as I supposed).  Ellen Cherry is the main character in Skinny Legs and All. Tommy wanted me to come with him to some party and I totally made up a lame excuse and ditched everyone to come home and paint my canvas.  I went on a second "date" with him to a little dinner party with a couple couples

i dont believe in religion , i believe in truth. i believe Christ is truth. that's just me. i think artists are interpreturrs(spl?) of emotion. i believe we are responsible for conveying emotion to the emotionally challenged. like i dont understand math.. it takes a mathematician to explain math to me. whereas some people dont understand love, it takes a poem, a painting, or an essay from one of us to explain love to such a person. we are the conduits. we are the translators. we are the bridge. our gift, our curse, is our unique ability to sense our feelings and translate them to a medium that evokes the emotion in other people that may not be able to feel or experience those emotions without our method of explanation. i dont know if that made sense...but worth a shot?
