There's some burger joint in Arizona called the Heart Attack Grill that serves items such as "Quadruple Bypass Burger" and "Flatliner Fries", served by "nurses". Sexy nurses.

( Big burgers and skimpy nurse outfits )

Interesting, though, that it's successful. I think there's a lot going on in this situation, dynamically. You have the Hooters aspect, though here I think they are working a new angle, perhaps having employees who enjoy it. That's a hard question to look at, is it objectifying if the women want to be looked at? At the same time it encourages a demeaning attitude, complete with the "alpha male" part (where you eat more than the others in your party). Then there's that whole health factor, glorified. And yet from a purely business perspective, they found a niche.

There are all sorts of restaurants that exploit a part of amerikan culture, even here in Minneapolis.

Oh, the twisting knife of ethics.

yes & no.. i look at it this way, if someone is severly molested as a child & turn around and repeat it. odds are theyre just following 'what they know'. women who grew up with low self-esteem, told their worthless, are just naturally bred to follow suit, theyre just so brainwashed they dont know what harm theyre causing themselves & other young women out there. so i actually feel sad for them

but you heard about the nurses union that are suing them right? which is ridiculous... oh lets sue because our profession is being objectified, uuummm take a look around?? idiots.

That is an if, though. While I think it's valid and true in many cases, I don't think it's a rule, more of a case-by-case issue.

As far as the nurses union suing, I saw that, and it is pretty silly. My feelings were hurt, I deserve money. Only in amerika.
