1. What was the first car your family had?: I'm not sure what it was in Australia, but here in the States, we had what is now referred to by the rest of the family as The Pimpmobile. I don't even know what kind of car it was - all I remember is that it was red, it had white leather interior, and it was seriously the most pimp car that ever existed. We've got pictures somewhere - if my photo scanner actually worked, I would post one of those puppies.
2. What was the name of your first pet and what?: In Australia, we had two cats - Rousha and Mish, and a rabbit, Dumpling. I'm not sure who came first.
3. How did your first pet die?: Mish was the first one to go, and from what my mom says, she was old and having health difficulties, so they had her put to sleep.
4. What was the name of your elementary school?: Black River Elementary School, then Cedar Street Elementary School. That was back before the days of Upper and Lower. I think I liked our names better.
5. Who was your first best friend?: In elementary school, or my very first best friend? Because my very first was probably Kasey. Schoolwise, though, my first real best friend was probably Michelle Blakely.
6. Are you still friends today, and if not, what happened?: No, she moved to Ohio after sixth grade.
7. What was your favorite board game?: Aggravation, and of course Candyland. Because who doesn't like Candyland?
8. Did you play house or other make believe games?: I played house with Barbies...does that count? I had a tendency to daydream a lot - still do - but I don't know if I made a game out of it all that much.
9. Were you a Dungeons and Dragons geek?: No, but I seemed to have a lot of friends who were into it.
10. Did you sleep with stuffed animals as a kid?: Blue Bear, of course. Truth be told, I still sleep with a stuffed animal - I use my big bear as a pillow.
11. Do you still sleep with stuffed animals?: Oh....guess I answered that one already. Maybe I should look at all the questions before I answer.
12. Who was the first person you looked up to when you were younger?: Probably my sister.
13. Who was your favorite relative?: Either my sister or my oldest nephew. It went back and forth, depending on who was pissing me off less at the moment.
14. Were you short or tall in elementary school?: Tall, I suppose, but really more like average. In elementary, they used to arrange the class picture by height, and I usually fell in the middle of the second row. So I wasn't the tallest or anything, but I wasn't short.
15. Were you teased in school?: Look at the spelling of my name. There's a reason people call me Cheeze Marshmallow. I think that shit started back in kindergarten.
16. What was the name of your favorite teacher?: I remember that I liked Mrs. Mansfield and Mrs. Palmer a lot.
17. What was the name of your least favorite teacher?: Mrs. McKenzie. I only had her for science, but I still hated her. And Mrs. Paige ranked right up there, too. She tried to tell my parents I was ADD. I mean, come on. Both of them were from fourth grade. Needless to say, fourth grade wasn't exactly my year.
18. What was your best subject in school?: Reading, writing, that kinda stuff.
19. What was your worst subject in school?: Always and forever, math. We used to have to take those timed math tests, where you had to complete as many problems as possible in a certain amount of time, and I was ridiculously bad at them. Thinking about the subtraction ones still makes me feel sick.
20. Did you do well in Physical Education?: Yeah, uhm....that would be a no. I tried to get out of gym as much as I could, really. (Unless it was parachute day. I freaking loved parachute day). I especially sucked at running. Still do.
21. Were you clumsy when you were younger?: Not really. I'd trip over my feet occasionally, but nothing too horrible. The only broken bone I had was my fractured elbow, and that was from riding my bike.
22. Who was your favorite band as a kid?: New Kids On The Block, baby. And like every prepubescent New Kids fan, I was into Joey. Poor Donnie Wahlberg gets no love.
23. What was your favorite movie as a kid?: The Look Who's Talking movies and Uncle Buck. When my parents were divorced, it was routine for my dad to take me to Movie Market and pick out a movie, and I always picked one of those three.
24. Did your parents read to you?: I don't really recall....I learned to read pretty early, I think, so I typically just read to myself.
25. Did you have a favorite book?: I was all about the Baby-sitters Club and Sweet Valley High. And when I was really little, it was Little Golden Books. Sumner, I know you know what I'm talking about.
26. What was your favorite restaurant as a kid?: BJ's! I bet Heather will remember BJ's. It was in the little mini mall where Movie Market used to be, and where I think the scrapbook shop is now. I loved that place.
27. On what TV or movie star did you have a crush?: LL Cool J. HA.
28. Do you now wonder what you were thinking?: Kinda sorta, but really, now I look at LL Cool J and think "Well, I suppose it could have been a lot worse."
29. Who was your first crush in school?: It was either Andrew Alexander or Ryan Blackburn. I know they were both first grade, but I don't know who came first.
30. As a child, what kind of car did you want when you grew up?: I didn't really want to drive, so I never thought about it.
31. Did your parents spank you?: Hell yes, they did. The Wooden Spoon was the unspoken threat in our lives, until my mom broke it on Kasey's ass. Bwahahah. My mom also liked to make us sit down and watch the Thriller video when we were bad. And you people wonder why I still can't watch that video to this day.
32. Did your parents fight a lot when you were a kid?: HAHAHA. You're joking, right? Have you met my parents? Obviously, yes. Before, during, and after the divorce. Hell, they're probably fighting as we speak.
33. Did your parents get divorced or stay married?: They got divorced, then got back together. They got remarried on Valentine's Day, which - when you consider my parents - is kind of hysterical.
34. If they got divorced, how old were you when it happened?: I honestly don't remember my exact age. Five or six, I think?
35. Did you ever run away from home?: I considered it a few times, but where would I go? My sister's. And even at my young age, I knew damn well my sister would be nice to me and then call my mother as soon as I turned my back.
36. How old were you when/if you first got glasses?: Fifth grade, I got reading glasses. I remember my crush turning to me in class during a game of 7-up (how the hell did you play that game? I can't even remember) and going "Nice glasses." Needless to say, that was a big thrill.
37. Did you need braces or a retainer?: They thought I would need braces, but apparently my teeth ended up settling in such a way that I didn't end up with them. Or something.
38. If you're female, how old were you when you got your period?: Twelve or thirteen. I was building a fort in the woods behind my house with Abby and April, and Abby and I kept whispering back and forth about it because we didn't want to "scar" April or some shit. I believe this actual conversation took place:
April: Why are you talking about blood? Are you bleeding?
Abby: Uh....Chez cut her leg.
April: Where? Can I see?
Chez: Uh....it's really high up.
39. If you're male, how old were you when you had your first wet dream?: N/A
40. Both sexes when did you start shaving?: I don't even know, to tell you the truth. It never really registered as huge lifetime experience for me.
41. How old were you when you first masturbated?: Older than you would think, actually. But again, I didn't really document the date or anything.
42. Girls when did you start wearing a bra?: Shit, I can't remember any of this. Sometime in middle school, I'm guessing. I wore sports bras for awhile there.
43. Both sexes how old were you when you had your first real kiss?: Fourteen.
44. Who was your first kiss with?: Jim Hagg, at the old middle school after a dance.
45. What was your first kiss like?: I was all nervous about it, but he was pretty cool. Afterwards, I was like ".......wait a minute, what the hell was that?!"
46. How old were you when you went on your first date?: Honestly, I'm not sure that I've been on what you would call a real date. I'm talking like a first date, getting to know you type of thing. But in fourth grade, Brandon Hewitt and I "went out" for like, a day, and I remember meeting up at the RIF carnival. I suppose that counts.
47. Who was your first date with?: Yeah, see above.
48. What did you do on your first date?: We did the cake walk, baby. And my mom was running it, so I remember that I won a lot. On a sort of related note.....damn, I miss the cake walk.
49. How old were you when you first drank?: 21. Yeah, I know. Yawn.
50. How old were you when you first tried drugs?: I haven't.
