I'm in Chicago till tomorrow.  My sister's bridal shower was this weekend.  It was a suprise and we got her good!  We were all a bit nervous about that too because things were just not going right.  But it all worked out and her shower was unbelievable!  So wonderful.  And I'm getting to know Ryan.  Ya know what....he's a cool guy.  I can't help

Ok. So after I got your comment, I'm like, "HOW DID I MISS THIS CHICAGO THING!" So, I logged in and noticed that my "friends page" had been updated.

I have been neglecting my duties as a livejournal friend since my parents got into town. So, I'm sorry... Now, on to the comment.

Yay for liking Ryan! I was concerned about that. Actually, the other day I found myself thinking about you and your relationship with your sister. I was slapped in the face with the thought that if my girls have a problem with this guy, that my entire life can change drastically in moments.

If your sister doesn't like your guy, you've got a lot of stuff to think about it. If the people who know you the best don't like this guy, then he's probably not the right one.

So, long story short (too late!) I'm glad you like him, and I LOVED your presents. They're funny! Perfectly executed. I like that you reconciled your past with his future. It was well done. I'm proud of you.

And I can't wait to see you again! It's been WAY TOO FLIPPIN' LONG!!!!

It was a quick trip that wasn't really planned. I mean, I had planned on coming this weekend for the shower if I could find a cheap flight, but it wasn't looking too promising. Then, last week, my mom and I found one, and here I am.

Actually I go home today. WHOOPIE! Not that I'm not sad to leave, but like I might have mentioned....I MISS CHRIS! And I just checked in to my flight and ya know what....it's delayed already. I'm now scheduled to get into Orlando at 11:59 pm. NOT COOL.

Anyway, its been a nice trip. My little brother is good and I'm a little better with AManda and Ryan now.

Yeah! A post. Not that I did overly well last week but I was hoping to get to hear a bit about your trip. Esp cause i missed the memo that you were going. I miss chicago too. I miss you living in chicago. If you did, i'd fly out for Pirates of the Carribean. We could surprise colleen this time. I'm glad you like Ryan better. I had almost forgotten you didnt' really like him. That's what I get for being out of touch with LJ for so stinkin long. I am trying. ANyway, I need to get a post or two in before my mom gets here and then I've got to take off to print some stuff for MA- our printers out of ink.

So close yet so far away..... I'm glad to hear you are enjoying your time at home! How great that you get along with your soon-to-be brother in law.

Ryan and I have actually been planning on taking the train down to Chicago one of these days because we feel guilty that we live so close to Chicago, yet NEVER go. I actually think we might go in two weeks. I'll have to coordinate our next trip down when you are there. Or remember.... I have a car now, so maybe the next time you are home, I'll drive on down and we can have a little girls afternoon or something. I have a gift certificate to Mario Tricoci (spelling?) spa... we could get our nails done or something!

I was in Lombard last weekend. What terrible timing! ;)

Everything is great!!! I'm back in Florida now though. And there is NO hotdog place here. :( My family is down here now because AManda's wedding is in like 2 weeks!! Crazy, I know.
