Oh, the glory that was this chapter. (I'm calling it a chapter, in hopes that you continue it!) You're doing what you do best here, which is to bring a scene to life with fabulous dialogue and play between characters.

I actually first read this a couple of hours ago, but was laughing so hard (in utter delight) that I had to wait to comment. Now I think I have myself under control and can carry on.

Before I get to the bits of insanely fabulous dialogue and other lines of love, a word about details. This chapter was replete with absolutely brilliant details that made it both more believable and more fun. A few favorites:

smelling suspiciously like Sabrina’s favorite cologne on him
What an adorable thing for him to do and Mama to notice! It's just full of sweetness.

wearing a hooded sweatshirt about two times too big. She recognized it as Mark’s and smiled to herself againNow there is a cute image if ever there was one. Again, a perfect thing to include, to balance Mark and his cologne. It shows closeness in a subtle

I love the random moment idea. It makes them seem even more like regular people rather than big celebrities. This was so well done. Every detail adds to it and makes it so much fun to read (I've read it like 3 times now). I can see every thing in my head. This is what I will be thinking about as I fall asleep!

Awesome idea, definitely something I can see Shirley doing to Mark just to get a reaction out of Sabrina.
