for creative writing class

I have an assignment to write the beginning of a story that is "a combination of reality & fantasy. Should have elements from: every day life, + imaginary/illusion/dream to balance the normal."

it only has to be 3 pages.

A good way to inspire yourself is to write a 55 word story. No more, no less. I did that once and I ended up writing like six of them. Try it!

Otherwise just open the dictionary and write down the first word you see, and do that six times, and then write something that incorporates all six of them.
