1) Yes, sorry about that. I have been feeling depressed and pale, truth be told. While I usually try and keep the emo to myself, sometimes it sneaks out. But indeed, it is hard to feel sad with a puppy sleeping in your lap. Even the other dog is starting to like him! Or at least, not scowl at him quite so much ( ... )

Why are you sorry? This is your journal, Aysa. I'm not judging or criticizing you for posting about the way you feel. I'm just pointing out that puppies make depressed people feel better. I mean, my dog was there for me after the worst break-up of my life, and I don't know what I'd have done without her. She made me feel better.

I am glad you agree on the "humanz bad, animalz good" bandwagon. There's no reason to ever be inhumane toward an animal. As they lack the sentience to do anything truly spiteful, petty, or cruel, I can't see hating any animal enough to treat it that way, let alone doing so out of callous laziness or disregard.

I'm glad the puppy is doing better, and I hope things there end well. Good luck to you in that.

Sorry because normally I like to keep my feelings bottled up inside where they can fester quietly in the form of a mental illness - you know, like normal people!

Dogs are great. I've got one sleeping in my lap, whilst the puppy is sacked out in the other room. Indeed, caring for him has given me something to focus all of my energy on. I got him to go on the paper seven times yesterday, and was ridiculously pleased with myself. I am the fucking Dog Whisperer.

There really isn't any reason to be so cruel to animals. They don't deserve it. Not even bears! I don't understand assholes who kick dogs around for.. well, doing dog stuff. Yeah, it barks. What'd you expect?

I hope things go well with him, too. He's a great little guy.
