DVD Hunting
Yesterday, after the orientation for the Brigada Eskwela, I headed to the Taiyaki store in Muntinlupa with my otaku friend and my best friend. We ate taiyaki, a fish-shaped Japanese cake with filling inside. I usually order custard, but there is a monggo-flavored taiyaki too. We talked for a while then headed to my most favorite place in Muntinlupa (next to Festival Mall, LOL), the DVD store. Haha! Evil right? Gaaah. Piracy.
I planned on buying 2, but after browsing and scanning all of the DVDs (the anime ones), I saw 5 DVDs that I wanted to buy! And just like any other trip to the DVD store, I bought all of them again. I have this urge to buy whatever I want to buy when I have the money, and it's really hard to fight! T_T But I'm really happy because I bought them. Haha! It actually feels good to look at your DVD collection while you are cleaning (but it'd be better if they were the original ones). Okay, these are the ones that I bought yesterday:
1. Tora Dora
The drawing really got me! Haha! The character named Taiga is also interesting. I knew about the anime during the Ouran RP in our forums (Imagination: Unleashed), and I wanted to watch it ever since. :)
2. Katekyoushi Hitman Reborn season 1 & 2
I have been reading the manga since March (I stopped though because of KWMS and all the other shoujo manga that I've been reading), and it's awesome! Haha! I started watching the first 15 episodes today, and I couldn't stop (actually I stopped, LOL, because I thought my mom and sister would arrive early) because of the amusing characters! Haha! Lambo is really funny, especially when he says his usual line: "Gotta... stay... calm..." and he'd cry! Haha! I love him for his determination (he just won't give up, won't he?), and adult Lambo is also hooooottt! (except for the cry part) I also like Gokudera! He's the hottest man in KHR! Hahaha! I really like it when he fights with Yamamoto (the guy who thinks the whole mafia thing is a game). He is hooooottttt. XD I should've made this the Katekyo Hitman Reborn post rather than the DVD hunting post LOL. I actually saw a season 3 DVD, but I didn't buy it because I want to buy something for my sister. LOL. I've been very mean lately and I wanted to do something nice once in a while. LOL. Evil sister. *sinister smile*
3. Junjou Romantica season 1 & 2
FINALLY! My very own copy! I was looking for it everywhere: (Comic Alley and DVD store). Wahaha! Too bad I could only watch it at night. :l LOL, my mom might suffer from a massive heart attack if she sees that DVD. :)) I remember buying Gossip Girl and hiding it from her because of the cover. Hahaha. She wasn't shocked at all when she saw it, but my sister was like: "Si Ate, bastos!" Haha! I love you Nowaki and Hiroki! Will there be a season 3? I miss all of them so much! *hugs 6 of them*
4. Kuroshitsuji
I didn't know this had an anime adaptation, but when I saw one in Ate Louise's house, I felt like buying one too. Haha!
I also bought Monsters Vs. Aliens. Wahaha. I spent 200 pesos all in all (Oha! Would Odyssey offer 5 discs for only 200 pesos?), and I'm kinda worrying for the meet-up because I might walk home. I hope Mama would give me money for the meet-up. Yaaay!
