So it's been like two years. If anyone's still out there, reading this, please say hello!

I haven't been into the JE fandom in a very long time. I don't know why, but I just started listening to other thing. Like Mika. He's awesome. Also I grew up. I'm like an adult now. I'm 20 years old. I've lived in Stockholm in my own apartment for almost 9 ( Read more... )

Hello! :)

I feel obligated to comment on this post 'cause the same thing happened to me (fandom-wise). I think it was 10 months ago when I started browsing my Kanjani8 collection again after a long time - about 2 and a half years. And, yeah, love is still alive!

Ah, that's lovely! I think it's very easy to fall in love with Kanjani8, they always give me good feeling, like being "home". However, sometimes you just need a break from JE and the fangirling and everything. At least for me it got stressful trying to keep up with everything.
So, do you know anything about what K8 are doing nowadays, or where all the fans are (at least I don't see them much in my feed)? :)

Have to agree with you on that - K8 gives this nice vibe with their music. I took a break from fangirling 'cause real life needed focus.

I've noticed that K8 communities are not as active as before especially the subbing teams. Old links for download goodies are mostly dead, too.

K8 is filming/already filmed Eight Ranger movie 2. It might be just me but the promotional poster is really creative (saw it somewhere in arama). Oh, and if you'll notice, all their singles since Life~ are sound tracks for member's movie or drama... Still catching up from the 2 years break so I can't share much to you.

Wow, I haven't even watched the first ER movie yet (*ashamed*). I was waiting for subs, and then I took a break so I just never saw it. I have to watch it now instead! :)

Yeah, I noticed they've released a lot of singles! I just calculated that it would cost me about 30000 yen to buy some CDs and DVDs I've missed by my favorite groups, and then I was actually picky. Sorry Johnny, but it just won't happen xD
