"Nat-chan, it's been a year ne... I miss you..." Chinen said as he put the flowers in front of Natsumi's tomb.

It was lunch break and Chinen's finished eating. He was walking when he heard a music coming from a room. He peeked at the room as he saw a girl about her age but slightly smaller than him. She was dancing ballet.
"kireii..." Chinen whispered to himself as he watched her dance. The girl then suddenly stopped dancing and turned off the music as she noticed someone was watching her.
"dare?"
"gomen. Don't stop dancing! You dance beautifully..." Chinen said as he smiled at her. She smiled back, "thanks, but I'm already done. Uh! I'm Shiraishi Natsumi by the way! Yoroshiku onegai shimasu! she introduced herself as she bowed.
"yoroshiku! Chinen Yuuri desu! So, you love ballet?" he asked. "un! My dream is to be a ballet dancer! And I want to be the worlds no. 1 ballet dancer. But I can't fulfill my dreams." she said looking down, the last sentence came as a whisper. "eh? Nani?"
"iie, betsuni! Jaa, I'll get going!"
"eh? ok." he replied as Natsumi went outside of the room.
A few months later, they'd became best friends. Chinen fell in love with her, but he didn't confess to her because he's afraid their friendship will be broken. But today, Chinen decided to confess to her.
They meet each other on their usual place where they first met. When Chinen arrived there, Natsumi was dancing. 'She's really beautiful..' he thought.
"Chii?" Natsumi interrupted his thought. "nani?" he asked as he snap back to reality.
"you told me earlier that you have something to tell me. What is it?" she asked Chinen. Chinen got nervous as he stuttred, "e-eto... A-anou..."
"hm?"
"Nat-chan, d-daisuki." Chinen confessed as he was blushing deep red.
"eh?"
"daisuki da yo!"
"gomen... I-I cant..." she ran away leaving a heartbroken Chinen in the room.
A week had passed and Natsumi's still avoiding Chinen since the day he confessed to her. Every time Chinen was going to talk to her, Natsumi will make an excuse and walks away. Chinen was so hurt in this kind of situation but he didn't regret that he confessed to her.
The next day, Chinen tried to talk to Natsumi again, they were at their usual place. "Nat-chan, can we-"
"gomen, I have to go." Natsumi cuts in and was about to leave but Chinen grabbed her wrist.
"matte! Why do you keep avoiding me?! Do know how I feel whenever you're avoiding me?! It hurts so much!" Chinen yelled as tears fall from his eyes and began to cry. "gomen" was all Natsumi replied.
"why do you keep avoiding me? Is it because I confessed to you? Nat-chan I really love you! I rally do." he sobs.
"Chii... Gomen..." Natsumi looked down to hide her teary eyes. "I-I... Have to tell you s-something..." She said, her voice was trembling.
"what is it?"
"I-I have cancer." she said as her tears started to fall. "I'm dying Chii.."
The last sentence made Chinen's heart crashed. He can't believe what he just heard. "usso.." Chinen said as he fell on the ground with his knees as more tears fell from his eyes.
"That's why I'm avoiding you. Stop loving me! I don't want you to see me dying! It hurts me so much to leave you because I love you. I don't want to die. I want to be with you forever.." Natsumi said as she cried. Chinen hugs her tight.
"nakuna... It hurts me to see you like this." Chinen hugs her even tighter.
After a few days, they became lovers. Natsumi was so happy to be with Chinen. Whenever she's with him, she forgets about her sickness. A few months had passed since they became lovers, they decided to go on a date for their monthsary.
They went to watched a movie, go to an amusement park and ate at a restaurant together. Chinen noticed that Natsumi's getting paler. He asked her if she's fine and Natsumi said that she's ok.
"hontou ni daijoubu." she smiled weakly.
"ok. Jaa, I want to show you something before we end our date today!" Chinen excitedly said as Natsumi nodded.
They went to an empty theatre (A/N: I don't really know what its called so I'm not sure 'bout this. >.<) and Natsumi was confused of why they are there.
"what are we doing here?" she asked.
"I want to see you dance again. But I wanted you to dance on that big stage!" Chinen pointed at the stage. It's big and has spotlights.
"Chii..." Natsumi said as she smiled warmly. "un! I'll dance for you!"
Natsumi went up to the stage as Chinen sits down on the seat in front of the stage. Natsumi began dancing ballet. Chinen kept smiling as she danced but his smile faded when Natsumi stopped dancing and holds her head.
"daijoubu?" Chinen asked worriedly at her.
"daijoubu! I'm just a bit dizzy but I can still dance." she replied as she start dancing again. Chinen remained to his seat as he watched her dancing with a worried face.
In the middle of her dancing, she felt dizzy again and stopped dancing. She felt a sticky fluid ran out from her nose and when she touched it, she saw blood. her eyes widened as her vision started to blur and she passed out, falling unconsciously to the ground.
"Nat-chan!" Chinen quickly went to her and took her to the hospital.
After a few minutes, the doctor told him that Natsumi's cancer worsened and she can die anytime now. Chinen widened his eyes. He began to cry and cry.
After a few minutes of crying, he went inside of Natsumi's room and he saw her awake.
"Chii..." natsumi mumbled as Chinen walks and went beside her. "how are you feeling?" he asked as he held her right hand.
"did you cried" she asked and held his cheek with her other free hand. "your eyes are red. Don't worry 'bout me, I know I'll die today."
"Nat-chan..." he cried and held her hand tight.
"don't cry, onegai. I want you to smile one last time for me before I go... Please, waratte.." she said as Chinen nodded and smiled sadly.
"I love you, please don't leave me."
"I love you too. Don't worry, if I die, I'll be still watching you wherever you go. I'm really glad that I met you. You're the first one who told me that my dance is beautiful. Promise me you that you'll never forget me."
"I promise." Chinen sniffed.
"I love you... So much... Sayo... Nara..." Natsumi smiled as her eyes slowly closing and her hand on Chinen's cheek fell down.
"NAT-CHAN!!!" Chinen yelled and hugs her tight. "I promise, I won't forget you. I love you so much."

"I still remember how we first met. I miss your dance. I miss you." Chinen said as his tears fall down.
"I won't forget about you. And I will love you.. Forever..."
