The sealion caves are overated. It's dark and you can't get a decent picture unless you have a gigantic lense. You can't see crap, and it was cold, rainy and windy. I saw more sealions last spring break in Newport Bay. We retruned the same place today, but it was still early in the morning, and there weren't many there yet. Because they follow ( Read more... )

Jason and I are driving down the coast to meet up with my mom at work. She has an "overnight" so we're staing with her. I'm excited, I'm gonna get to go see the Sealion Caves right outside of florence either today or tomorrow. Perhaps at some point I"ll get to spend sometime on the beach. Yes. I finally made it. After waiting for our plane that was late, sitting on the plane for an extra hour in Salt Lake because we had to wait in line for the wings and tail to be de-iced (it was snowing very badly all day Sunday there) we then had to wait in line to take off we were behind 6 other planes.
