“Not if John has his way,” Elizabeth replied as she took the arm he offered.-- “He wants to make you and Ronon her godfathers.” OMG, poooooor child!!!... but wait... elizabeth's daugter... (EG) she'll have those two wrapped around her finger.

There was a terrifying silence, during which John turned wide eyes to Elizabeth, Elizabeth tried to keep a straight face, Lorne fervently prayed for a Wraith attack and all three studiously avoided looking in Caldwell’s direction.

“Alright Papa, what’s going on?” Jenna demanded, as she approached the silent group. She stood with her hands on her hips and looked everyone over. If nothing else, the panicked look on Lorne’s face and the thunderous one on her father’s told her all she needed to know.

“Honestly,” she said with a sigh. “You’d think that moving to another galaxy would give me some privacy. But noooo…*I* have to have a father with an overprotective attitude *and* an interstellar battlecruiser!”

I'm laughing out loud here for, what? Ten minutes? Because of that paragraph up there! Honey, NOBODY writes these friendships the way you do. I'm in awe, and I adore this little story - friends, parents, children, banter, crushes, pregnant Elizabeth....!!! Can't WAIT for more from you!
