If your peak levels are too high your body can convert the testosterone into estrogen. That's generally more of a concern than it being simply too high a concentration of testosterone, although that can happen. If it is converting to estrogen over a long term this may lead to issues such as ovarian/cervical/breast cancer, it can lead to other issues as well (breakthrough bleeding maybe, depending on progesterone in your system). Having a high concentration of testosterone that isn't being used by your body does little, if it is being used it can cause things like liver problems over time, or develop high cholesterol over time. That's why they do it at 3 months, that way they can check shit before it gets too bad if there's anything wrong with it.

I was on 200mg biweekly for nearly 3 years and my levels were ridiculously high. I am now at 50 mg a week and my levels are at a normal range finally.

Good to know. The endo I'm seeing now says that 200mg is almost always too high for everyone. I guess I was just worried about switching to 50mg/wk because I don't want my trough levels to drop lower than where they're at right now. Although I suppose injecting weekly might counter that.
Thanks for the response!

200mg was definately too high for me and unfortunately my quack doctor didn't realize this until 3 years on. My blood pressure is ridiculously high. New doc and I have actually discussed my stopping for a month or two to see how my body reacts.
