I think JJ mutated a little bit to class one jerk behavior there.
I was sympatic to both of them - with Spencer keeping distance and JJs "instead of dealing with it he's acting out"-slight. Really.
That is, until she accused genius boy of somehow just having a "bruised ego" and was like "Reid, get over yourself already."
I thought: wtf was that? That's not really the best way to start into a successful career as a profiler, isn't it?
But Fics like yours make it all better.
He, I am a total youtube watcher - although I kinda skipped season 6. Now that the girls are back I'm thinking about remedy that fact and already fixed me up with the highlights. Do you think they drop the headache storyline? (haven't noticed whether Reid's still wearing the glasses. He isn't, is he?.)

I thought the same. I even remember tweeting something about she's not suppose to profile her team mates. ^^; I feel the same way about Prentiss, with she told Reid at the end. "You mourned the loss of one friend. I mourned the loss of six." I thought that was pretty bitchy on her part. Telling someone how much 'harder' you had it doesn't really cheer anyone help.
If they keep writing JJ this way she'll quickly stop being one of my favs on the show. Yeah, she'll drop right down to how I feel about Morgan and Prentiss.
No, they haven't dropped it. At least, from what I've read they haven't. It's supposed to more explored this season, along with more of Reid's mother. I'm pretty excited about it. Mostly because I have chronic migraines, meaning I get headaches and migraines for no reason all the time. So I want to see how the handle the migraine situation going on. I hope the don't resort to some mental issue. Just 'cause you get terrible headaches doesn't mean something has to be wrong with you.

Prentiss did not have the most brilliant lines this season, I agree.
It's totally different to take a coffin to the grave opposed to simply not being able to talk to your friends but knowing full well that they are safe and secure. And because of your own sacrifice, no less - I believe that does pretty much for consoling oneself.
And come on: Her 'freeing' statement last episode? So not convincing. (Although I blamed her pathos-dripping speech more on American Patriotism in generel - that is so prominent in television stories - not on her character in particular.)
Well.
YAY, Mrs. Reid!
