OMG, this reminds me of when I was in high school, my Lennon-lovin' best friend carved a PERFECT TV-cartoon-John face in a pumpkin for Halloween.
She didn't dare put it on the porch, but kept it in her room.
...and kept it in her room. ...and kept it in her room. ...and kept it in her room.
By the time her mother threatened murder if she didn't get rid of it, it looked all... well, like wrinkled and buckled and... in any case, it was hilarious! I'll never forget it. It still looked like John, but an ancient and sad John. She could NOT part with it.
Heavy mold accumulation finally forced her to very reluctantly conduct funeral services for poor Jack-O-Lennon!
How did I miss that you're moving to Colorado? This is a Very Good Thing, yes? Unless I'm mistaken and your girlfriend doesn't live there, in which case, so, hey moving to Colorado. Cool :-)

I should really take a picture of the now-mouldering JohnandYoko pumpkin I carved. Yoko has a fuzzy green moustache!
