Don't bathe her. Most shampoos and powders only work with repeated applications anyway. Go to the vet and get the Advantage or Frontline drops that you can apply to the back of her neck. Much less traumatizing than bathing, and works better, too.
I'd hoped to avoid the chemicals-on-the-cat products, but you make a lot of sense... Besides, this flea shampoo claims to give some sort of protection even after the bath - so it probably deposits some chemical on the cat anyway.
And I swear, the fleas are getting worse by the hour. I need to do something very effective and immediate.
