Theories about the mother
Just because I am curious if anyone else has this theory and or if it even makes sense. (Or has this crazy train derailed and gone into Oblivion-ville?)
Okay. So this morning I was thinking, "Hmm, I wonder if we will ever meet this 'daughter of Jerome Whittaker' (Carly). Wouldn't it be funny... if Barney meets his step-sister and think she's hot but then it's totally taboo because they're technically related. Hmm, I wonder if the Whittaker family will be at Barney's wedding... *GASP* What if SHE is the mother? 0_0!! She has quirks as a mysterious character and that would line up with how odd the Whittaker family gene is. (J/K) And she's in college (which would correlate with the facts that the audience knows about her being in Ted's first day of class incident) and she would actually meet him at "a wedding." DUDE! That would mean that, if she was/is the mother, Barney and Ted would actually be BRO-ther-in-laws!!
