now here is my view on Pirates of the Carribean: Dead man's chest.....
Again.. spoilers abound.. I'm gonna put into LJ-cut... read it at your own risk... you have been warned!
PoTC:DMC (as it been dubbed) is a pretty kickass movie... yea Dave swore. I didn't even realize it was 2.5 hours long. In my personal book, if a movie is long and you don't notice it is long.. it is a good movie (keep you entertain... that is the point of movies right?) We went to see at the Studio Movie Grill (love the place all you can eat pizza and soda woot woot) anyways, the story has a good flow and I love watching every moment of it. There was some minor "continuity" that wasn't totally address.
I would presume that the Commadore actually pursues Cpt Jack Sparroww into a storm? and lost his boat (and retire/stripped) of his commission and became a bum? that would have been a cool battle to see (but not a whole movie maybe in the beginning or something... ah well)
I cannot wait to see the 3rd one and the last scene after the credits was pricesless!!!
