With postcrossing, if you are allowed to send 5 cards, the most common countries those cards will go to are: Finland, Germany, USA, Russia and China. xD If you get any others, consider yourself lucky ;) (that's why I'm happy I can send 8 at a time now...)
A 'good' idea is, if you have the patience, to wait until all your cards have arrived.. because if you send another one just after a card to finland was registered, it's going to be finland again (80% of the time xD). Ofcourse, Finland isn't bad... and you just have to train yourself to find something fun about the profile you're sending a card to :)
And... the good part, where you are sending your cards to, won't influence where you are *getting* your cards from (but again, same 5 countries are much more common, they just have more postcrossers :D)
Another good side: cards to Germany/Finland arrive pretty quickly, most of the time (3-5 days).. so that means you'll get a card back sooner, too :D

i dont mind Finland that much but i don't mind if it is a country i have not send anything to yet (more fun i suppose)
