School
Well, finally almost done my second week of school. It was pretty boring but a lot of work. But, there's this girl that sits behind me in one of my classes and she was born in Japan and can speak japanese. There's also some girls in another class that said, "I want to visit Japan because I like anime." In their speeches about themselves. (It was in another language but I'm sure I heard it!) And I say a guy reading Death Note during class.
Nobody in my school knows I like anime or read manga and I find myself trying pretty hard to not let anyone know. Now that I actually see people in my school that read these kinds of things, I really want to approach them and talk to them about it. But I'm really reluctant. I was about to tap the Death Note guy on the shoulder when he was going up a flight of stairs, but I chickened out and just walked away.
It may be because I've kept this secret for so long and it could also be because I'm afraid of people making fun of me. (The latter's the more likely of the two.) But I want to eventually tell someone and have a "manga and anime buddy" but I wonder if I'll ever be able to. (I'm quite a shy person as you can see.)
