WHY THE FUCK DID FIREFOX EAT MY BOOKMARKS AGAIN!!  I DON'T EVEN REMEMBER INSTALLING THE NEW FUCKING VERSION OF FIREFOX, I JUST TURNED IT ON AND THERE IT WAS.  WHAT THE FUCK!?  I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO SAVE MY BOOKMARKS IN A SEPARATE FUCKING FILE EVERY SINGLE FUCKING TIME I USE THE INTERNET.  THIS IS FUCKING RETARDED.  I HATE YOU FIREFOX.

Dude. That happened to me twice over the summer. Pissed me off to no end, I swear. Had no idea how to fix it or where to look, so thanks for posting this, though the reason you went looking for it sucks. :-/

yeah, I recently learned where the bookmarks were hidden myself, so I could have helped you. At least Yahoo/Google was able to hehe. Though, I've never had the problem of Firefox eating my bookmarks.

Also, my bookmarks file wasn't a hidden file.
