Live from the Disaster Area

And what a sad excuse for a disaster area it is. Electricity and internet both working, shops open, garbage and postal services working. I even got gas yesterday morning! You would think that gas stations would be number one "might blow up" worry less than 24 hours after a magnitude 6.9 (I`ve actually seen up to 7.3 reported) earthquake. But ( Read more... )

Yeah, haven't felt anything too strong in a while *knock on wood*

Water update: It's BACK, baby! Mind you, I have no hot water and what water I do have is a brownish red, but at least I do not have to worry about where I'm going to the bathroom.

First comment: I'm really glad you are alright, despite running water problems.
Second comment: I told you you should have come to Osaka with me!
Third comment: You are right about the speedy recovery. I was in a hurricane disaster once and it took more than 6 days to get back power, but the water kept running, but no one could get anywhere because trees fell all over the road.
