Well, saw some good stuff. Golden Girls, Family Guy, 2 solid slammin' hours of Whose Line. Ooooh, the fun. :D
AND, I watched M*A*S*H even though it was non-Charles episodes. A couple of Frank-centric eps that were quite good.
First ep, this Colonel came in who had this classic revolver that Frank coveted. Oh, how he coveted. So he stole it, and Margaret (Slutty!Margaret, who I love, and who asked Radar what he thought of her leg...) thought it was the greatest thing ever. Of course, Radar got in trouble for it, which made Hawk (Slutty!Hawk, who I love, and who is bisexual, and clearly hot for Frank and clean shaven!BJ) and Beej mad. Actually, it seemed to make Hawk horny, and Frank even told them not to whitewash his ass again. Hawk, you are fooling exactly no one anymore.
Anyway, Frank convinced them not to molest him anymore, and he went to put the gun back (after a half-adorable, half-creepy segment where Potter tucks Radar into bed and gives him his teddy bear.) but somehow shot himself in the foot. Suure.
So he ran to Margaret, who yelled at him for stealing and lying (and he knows which one is worse, because he's done both) and she took care of him and presumably they had sex.
Anyway, all was pretty much well. There were a couple good... Ranger? Klidar? um, segments that were awwww. Radar was drunk in the OC and talking about how he'd go to prison for losing the gun, and Maxie was all cute and supportive, and then Radar said "I'll go in in my puberty, and leave in my adultery!". Heh. Actually, dangit, I guess there was only one good moment... :(
Oh, and Frank accidentally called Maxie "Dear", and then later Maxie told Frank to move his can. I love them. They are liek, teh OTP. Except for Chaxie, but MaxiexMajor seems to be a continuing thing. I've even considered Margaret/Maxie. Margxie, or... Houlihinger, or... something. That's the stuff.
The second episode was... "Mail Call"? Or something. Anyway, Frank got a letter from Louise, and she was going to divorce him. Great scene where he, er, eats his pillow, and when Margaret asks him why there are feathers in his hair, he tells her it's a scalp condition.
Anyway, Frank's upset and no one cares (;_;) and Potter's son (I didn't think he had a son...) is having a baby. I mean, his wife is, and they have a running bet on who can guess the birth weight, sex and date of the birth of the baby. (Hmm, just like in "The Birthday Girls", except no cow.)
Frank eventually got through to his wife on the phone, convinced her that not only was he not sleeping with Margaret, but he'd never THINK of it because Margaret is ugly as sin and just an all around rotter of a person, and naturally Margaret overheard the whole thing. How sad.
There was an adorable Maxie scene, of course. He shows up in Potter's office in all black, wearing a veil (SQUEEE) and he explains to Potter that both his brothers are dead, in a horrible explosion in the Toledo Harmonica Factory. Well, Potter then tells him that he has no brothers, and Maxie lives to cross-dress another day. GAH SO ADORABLE. I realize it's just like the scene with Blake, except the clothes are cuter.
Oh, and then... Radar showed a home movie of him dressed as his mother, er... his actual mother and family back home. And he cries. And Hawkeye cries. And Maxie is in fatigues. And Potter forgets that Mulcahy is even there. And I will never be able to wipe the image of Gary Burghoff in a wig and pearls out of my mind. :(
Very good stuff. Oh hells yeah.
