Summer solstice means long days, where sundown appears close to 10pm. It throws my body off a little, but I'm not complaining. Today's sunny evening required a light dinner -- too lazy to cook, too warm to cook and give off all that heat. So I turned to a plate of cold nibbly bits.

Looks delish but I have an odd question. How did you keep the salami rolled up like that. It seems like it would have unraveled.

Haha, funny question! The salami is kinda sticky...you know how you have to kinda peel each slice off each other. I just rolled them up real quick so it was easier to eat with fingers. Yum! And a lot spicier than it looks.

I like raw radish a lot :) I buy the organic ones and it shouldn't be bitter. It's crunchy, watery, a little bit of sweetness, and an almost soft peppery bite at the end. The French radishes are better but hard to find in North America -- they are oval-shaped and more dark pink than red, and they don't have that bitter sharp taste that most radishes get here. Mmm!
