The Fad: Be cool
I signed up to do one of those 5 questions deal from jezebe1
1. Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
Let's see... that would make me 27. Probably balancing the tail end of my education with a job and a household, and about 10 lbs skinnier from lack of eating. I spend a lot of time eating carrots and things that can be snacked on because I hardly have time to either make myself food during the day or the money pick it up. I'm probably stressing over being pregnant, for better or worse.
2. Do you have penis-envy? :P
Not at all really! =) I love small cars and have no desire to own a large vehicle. Why? Does it look like I have penis envy?
3. Most embarrassing moment in your life:
Ugh, we had to do these biography speeches in my Psych class. I wasn't prepared and convinced myself that I could shmooze through it. Instead I ended up crying in front of everyone like a stupid git.
4. Would you give your life for something you truly believed in? If so, give an example of something you would do that for.
In a sense I belive that everyone should have a cause to dedicate their life for... but literally? Lots of things. Mostly my family or children in general. If I could cure AIDS, but I had to die tomorrow, I'd do it.
Oddly enough, I don't think I would martyr myself for religion, largely because I think that faith is internal and you do no good to your faith by being a fool and getting stoned to death by cretins. Someone else can make you practice a religion, but can't make you belive it.
5. What do you fear more than anything else?
To settle for a still life of mediocrity and unfufillment. It really does bother me to think that I settle to be some soccer mom that has a dead end career and I don't make anything from my life. That I opt to go to Cancun each year instead of different parts of the world for each trip.
I worry that I'll give up my dreams and eventually completely give them up because of their inconvenience.
