I'd like to start this story with a request. I'd really like people's opinions on what happened, out of my own curiosity.

I came back from Plymouth sick with a head cold. On Monday I knew I was sick enough that I shouldn't work with food. I also knew that if I just straight up called in that they'd think I was just trying to get an extra day of

Honestly, if I hadn't had such a fantastic weekend I'd have probably walked out. I am quitting, I'm actually thinking of emailing her my 2 week notice, since I only see her like once a week. I'm going to cite this as one of the reasons I'm leaving. I've been planning on quitting anyway, but this just moved it up in the plans.

That's beyond sadistic and just straight over into jackassery. Holy crap... I wouldn't blame you at all for putting in your notice - I think it's probably the best thing. You don't need to put up with someone who treats you like that. I had a boss like that when I was in college and straight up walked out on her.

That being said, I hope you feel better soon ... tis the season to have head colds.
